Positioned on the underside of the cleaner, the scraper strips help loosen stubborn dirt and heavy debris from the pool floor, allowing the P1’s powerful 4800GPH UltraPure Suction system to lift it into the filtration basket.

The bottom scraper on the ECOVACS ULTRAMARINE P1 should generally be replaced every 1 to 2 pool seasons, or roughly every 12 to 24 months depending on your pool environment. Because it sits very close to the pool floor to dislodge stubborn debris, it is subject to constant friction.
