AyurFlex is a special ayurvedic herbal oil that contains a wide selection of precious herbs and spices. Some of them are warming, such as long and black pepper (Piper longum and Piper nigrum) or ginger. Others have strengthening qualities, such as country mallow (Sida cordifolia), ashwagandha (Withania somniferia), guduchi (Tinospora cordifolia); many others have calming and relaxing qualities, such as liquorice (Glycyrrhiza glabra) and sandalwood (Santalum album). Nurturing herbs, such as shatavarior or Indian asparagus (Asparagus racemosus), are also found in this exquisite composition. Himalayan ceder (Cedrus deodara), camphor tree, turmeric (Curcuma longa), and a wealth of other ingredients with positive properties make this product an ayurvedic specialty.
The base of our AyurFlex Herbal Oil is sesame oil, which Ayurveda describes as one of the best oils for massage.
Even the sesame oil must first be purified using manjishtha (Rubia cordifolia) and turmeric (Curcuma longa). Only then is it processed with other herbs. The production of herbal oils is not just a matter of heating the oil with herbs; instead, it requires a precise measurement of ingredients, as well as a carrier substance which helps preserve the high quality of the herbs during the elaborate production process.
